The Government at Work
The Government at work wasting our money and their time.
On September 30th Governor Newsom signed into law a bill that creates a nine-member task force to study reparations for slavery for African Americans despite the fact that California was a free state.
The futility of wasting time and our money engaging in such a process is ridiculous. I believe there are much important challenges facing the black community. I don’t understand how any of us currently living can be responsible for slavery.
Additionally, how would it be possible for most African Americans to trace their lineage prior to the civil war.
